Support for iPhone 16 Series

MDC supports the latest iPhone 16 series of devices. Now you can test your iOS apps in iPhone 16 using Manual or Automation (Grid) sessions.

Expand your test coverage by adding these latest devices on your cloud and start testing on them. 

Support for iOS 18 Official Release

MDC now supports iOS 18 Official/Public release version. It is important to test your applications for any bugs before you start to see the traffic coming from your customers from the latest OS version.
Upgrade any of your eligible devices to latest iOS 18 and increase your testing scope and release a bug-free application.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Mobile Studio 

  • Close app -Instantly shut down applications on Android devices
  • URL name update - URLs now exclude "SeeTest" and are standardized to be consistent with other cloud service titles

iOS application support

  • iOS enterprise applications can now be auto-trusted. For further information: Applications Rest API  
  • The issues where the dump was not seen in some instrumented apps have been fixed.
  • Cyder application was excluded from CloseAllApplications.

Android commands

  • The failure to send DeviceRegion commands in automation for Android devices has been fixed. 
  • The issue with the notification panel automatically closing has been fixed. 

Android application support

  • Camera2 framework is now supported for simulateCapture in Android 14 & 15 beta.

Appium Server - Support for Axe DevTools for Accessibility Testing

  • Appium Server images will now support the Axe DevTools plugin as of Appium 2.11.3

AI-Powered Self Healing

  • We fixed an issue preventing healed locators from appearing in video reports.
